713 aforesaid Several Tracts of Land to wit Harris's Tract Containing Nine hundred Acres one hundred Acres of Land called Pope's Forest a Tract or parcel of Land called Hermitage containing Thirty Acres a parcel or Tract of Land called Pope's Forest containing one hundred Acres lying and being in Kent County aforesaid And also all and all Manner of Actions Suits Debts and Demands whatsoever which he the said Robert Field heretofore had now hath or hereafter shall may might or ought to have against the said James Chalmers his Heirs Executors or Administrators or any of them for or by reason of the Deed of Mortgage above recited or any Covenant Article or Agreement in the same Contained In Witness whereof the said Robert Field hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his seal the Day and year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered John Flanagan Rob.t Field (seal) in the Presence of Cha.s Gordon On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus Endorsed Viz.t April 13 1770 Received of James Chalmers the sum of Eight hundred and twenty two Pounds Pensylvania Money being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Tests Cha.s Gordon Rob.t Field Maryland sc.t April 14.th 1770 Then Came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of the Province aforesaid the within Named Robert Field Party to the within Indenture of Release and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named James Chalmers his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent & meaning of the same Indenture and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Acknowledged before Philip Thomas Lee Sides Recorded 14.th April 1770 X.d This Indenture made the Thirtieth day of March in the Year of our Lord seventeen Hundred and Seventy Between Thomas Jenings of the City of Annapolis of the first part Mary Waymon of Anne Arundel County Widow of Edmond Waymon late of the said County deceased of the second part and Edmond Waymon of Anne Arundel County Eldest son of the said Mary Waymon and Edmond Waymon of the third part Witnesseth that the said Mary Waymon for the barring all Estates tail and Remainders over of and in the Land with the Appurtenances herein after mentioned and Described and for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling to her in hand paid by the sid Edmond Waymon Party hereto the receipt whereof she doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part thereof Doth acquit and Discharge the said Edmond Waymon by these Presents and for divers other good Causes and Considerations her the said Mary Waymon thereunto moving Hath granted bargained and sold and by these Presents Doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Edmond Waymon his Heirs and Assigns All that Tract of Land called Devalos Range (lying) |
