(71) Received the 1.st November 1765 of William Richardson Thirty shillings and eight pence half penny Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within land and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General 10 sides Recorded 1.st November 1765 John Davidson This Indenture made this 23.d Day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Sixty five Between John Kent of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one Part and Samuel Dorsey Jun.r of the said County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth That for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifty Pounds current money, to the said John Kent in Hand paid by the said Samuel Dorsey before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt and Delivery whereof the said John Kent doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every Part and Parcell thereof doth exonerate acquit and discharge the said Samuel Dorsey his Heirs, Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them forever by these Presents he the said John Kent hath Granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm to said Samuel Dorsey and his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Part of a Tract or Parcell of Land called Chance lying and being in Frederick County Beginning at the End of the eighth Line of said Land and running thence reverse of the Course thereof, the seven following Courses, Viz South seventy Degrees west one Hundred and fifty eight Perches; thence North Sixty Six Degrees West sixty Perches thence south forty seven Degrees west forty four Perches; thence South eighty Perches thence North eighty seven Degrees East forty Perches thence North sixty eight Degrees East one hundred and twenty four perches thence south eighty Degrees East seventy four Perches to the End of the first Line of said Tract of Land and thence North seventy Degrees East nine perches and then with a Streight Line to the first Beginning containing by estimation one hundred and twelve acres of Land with their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances whatsoever, and the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders of all and singular of the Lands, Tenements Hereditaments and Premisses hereby granted, and every part and parcel thereof and all Rents Issues Services and Profits to them ^or any of them^ or any Part or Parcell of them Incident Belonging or Appertaining, And all and every the Estate Rights Titles Claims and Demands whatsoever of the said John Kent in to or out of the said Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Premisses and every Part and Parcell thereof, To have and to (hold) |
