           Mem.dom         On the 24.th Day of October Anno Domini one Thousand
       seven hundred and sixty five came before us the Subscribers two of
       his Lordships Justices for the County afores.d the within named
       Francis Hardisty and acknowledged the within Indenture to be his
       act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the
       Right and Property of the within named Thomas Sappington his
       heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of
       the within Indenture and at the same Time Susanna the wife
       of the above Francis Hardisty came before us and acknowledged her
       Dower Right of the within land and Premisses to be the Right
       and Title of the within named Thomas Sappington his heirs and
       assigns for ever and being by us privately Examined out of the hearing
       of her Husband, said She made her acknowledgment willingly
       and freely without being induced thereto by fears or Threats of Ill
       usage from her said Husband, or fear of his Displeasure

          Received the 30.th October 1765 of Thomas Sappington Eight Shillings
       Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine
       on the within land and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd
       Esq his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General

                Recorded 30.th October 1765

          This Indenture made this Eleventh day of October in the Year
       of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between William
       Woodward of the City of Annapolis and Province of Maryland of the
       one part and Caleb Dorsey and Henrietta Maria Dorsey of Ann Arundel County
       and Province of Maryland and Alexander Lawson of Baltimore County
       in the same province of the other part witnesseth that the said
       William Woodward for and in consideration of the sum of seventy
       five pounds Sixteen Shillings and Six pence Sterling Money of Great
       Britain to him in hand paid by the Caleb Dorsey Henrietta Maria
       Dorsey and Alexander Lawson at or before the sealing and delivering
       of these presents the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged have
       bargained and sold and by these presents Do bargain and sell
