689 hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and Year above Written Sign'd Sealed and Delivered W.m Hardy In Presence of us Daniel Gover Sam.l Owings Jun.r (Seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the 2.d April 1770 of the within mentioned John Renhard Rippliogle Forty six Pounds Currant Money being the Consideration ^Money^ mentioned in the within Deed as witness my hand Test W.m Hardy Sam.l Owings Jun.r On the 2.d Day of April 1770 Came the within named Samuel Owings Junior before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provintial Court and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and the Parcel of Land thereby Bargain'd and Sold to be the Right and Title of the within Named John Renhard Rippliogle his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent and Meaning of said Deed as Witness Geo Steuart Baltimore County fs.t On the 5.th April 1770 Came Deborah Owings wife of the said Samuel Owings Jun.r before the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for said County who being privately examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband and Declared she Acknowledged her Right of Dower of the within Land and Premises to be the Right and Estate of the within Named John Renhard Rippliogle his Heirs and Assigns for ever without any Threats or fear of the Displeasure of her said Husband as Witness our Hands Sam.ll Worthington John Moale Maryland Baltimore County sc.t I hereby Certify that Samuel Worthington and John Moale both of the County aforesaid Gentlemen before whom the foregoing Acknowledgment was made and taken were at the taking and makeing the same and still are two of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid Duly and legally Authorized Commissioners and Sworn and that to all ^such^ Acknowledgments before them so made L S taken and Subscribed all due Faith and Credite is and ought to be given as well in Justice Court as thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and Affixed the Seal of the County aforesaid this Nineth Day of April Annoque Domini Seventeen hundred & Seventy A Lawson Cl of Balt Coty Court Received of John Renhard Rippliogle the Sum of Two Shillings and Eleven pence it being the Alienation Fine on the within Land for use of Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General 9 Sides Jn.o Brice Recorded 10.th April 1770 X.d This Indenture made the 2.d Aprill in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and Seventy Between Samuel Owings Jun.r of Baltimore County and Province of Maryland of the one part and John Wetty of Frederick County and and said Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Owings Jun.r for and in Consideration of the Sum of Forty one Pounds Currant Money to him in hand paid by the said John Wetty the receipt of which the said (Samuel) |
