683 by or under him the said Samuel Stringer or his Heirs shall and will well and truly warrant and for ever defend by these Presents unto the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns for ever And lastly the said Samuel Stringer for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators further Covenants grants and Agreed to and with the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Samuel Stringer his Heirs or Assigns shall and will at all Time and Times hereafter at the reasonable request Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns make and in due form of Law Execute all and every such further and other Conveyance or Conveyances Assurance or Assurances and such further reasonable Act or Acts do perform suffer and Execute as may by the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs or Assigns or his or their Council Learned in the Law be devised advised or required for the further and better conveying and Assuring the said Lot of Ground and Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns Provided that such Writing or Conveyance Contain no other warranty than is herein mentioned In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year above written Signed Sealed and Delivered the word (whereof) being first Allen Quynn Sam.l Stringer (seal) interlined; in the Presence of W.m Whetcroft Jon.a Pinkney (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received this Sixth day of April Seventeen Hundred and Seventy of the within mentioned Jonathan Pinkney the Sum of six hundred and sixty Current Money of Maryland (for the use of Samuel Stringer) being in the Consideration within mentioned Will Coale Attorney in Fact Test Allen Quynn for Sam.l Stringer W.m Whetcroft On this sixth day of April one Thousand seven hundred and Seventy William Coale in Pursuance and under and by the Power & Authority of the Letter of Attorney hereto annexed did acknowledge the within Indenture of Bargain and Sale in the Name of the within mentioned Samuel Stringer as and for his Act and Deed that is to say as the Act and Deed of the said Samuel Stringer according to the Form and Effect of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided the above Acknowledgement made in Form aforesaid being taken by me the said Day and Year/ being one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial Court Geo Steuart Reced of Jonathan Pinkney the Sum of one penny Sterling for use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Lot by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Jn.o Brice 8½ Sides Recorded 5.th April 1770 |
