       Third part of a Tract of Land called the Ivy Church Scituate lying and being
       in Frederick County in the aforesaid Province which said Third part is now in the
       Possession of a certain Rodolph Neit of Frederick County aforesaid Planter and to
       grant bargain and Sell the said Third part of the Tract of Land aforesaid
       with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging and also all my Estate Right
       Title Interest claim and Demand whatsoever of in and unto the said third
       Part of the aforesaid Tract of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging
       and also for me and in my Name place and Stead and as my proper Act
       and Deed to execute Seal and Deliver such Conveyances and Assurances
       of the said Third part of the aforesaid Tract of Land as shall be needful
       and requisite for y.e Doing thereof giving and by these Presents granting
       unto my said Attorney full Power and absolute Authority to do Execute & perform
       any Act or Acts thing or things whatsoever that shall be needful & necessary
       to be done touching or concerning in any wise the Conveying or Assuring the
       said Third part of the aforesaid Tract of Land in as full and ample
       Manner to all Intents and Purposes as I the said Samuel might or could
       do if I was then and there personally present And also ratifying allowing
       and Confirming all and whatsoever Acts and Things my said Attorney shall
       do or cause to be done by Virtue and according to the true Intent & meaning
       of these Presents In Witness whereof I the said Samuel Stringer have hereto
       set my hand and Affixed my Seal this Twenty ninth Day of January
       Anno Domini one Thousand seven hundred and seventy

       in the Presence of                  John Price

       On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus Endorsed Viz.t
      
       City of Albany fs   I Peter Silvester Notary Publick of the County of Albany by
       Royal Authority Admitted and Sworn Dwelling and residing in the City of
       Albany in the County of Albany and Province of New York in North
       America do hereby Certify that on the Twenty ninth day of Jan.y one Thousand
       seven hundred and seventy personally appeared before me Samuel Stringer
       of this City Practicer in Physick who acknowledged that he Signed Sealed
       and Executed the aforegoing Letter or Power of Attorney to and for and as his
       Act and Deed for the Purposes therein mentioned
                                 In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand

          Maryland fs.t  Personally appeared before the Honble John Beale Bordley Esq.r
       one of the Provincial Majestrates of the said Province John Price of Albany
       in the Province of New York aged Forty six Years and one of the
       Subscribing Witnesses to the within Letter of Attorney and being Sworn on the
       Holy Evangels of Almighty God Deposeth and saith that he was present
       at the Execution of the within Letter of Attorney at Albany in the Province
