671 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t March 30.th 1770 Received of Jeremiah Beall the Sum of Three hundred and fifty Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned Ar.t Charlton I say Rec.d P Tho Price Sam.l Beall Jun.r On the March 1770 Came Samuel Beall Jun.r before me the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Frederick County and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of Jeremiah Beall his Heirs and Assigns for ever Acknowledged before Tho Price W.m Luckett Reced the sum of Ten Shillings and six pence Sterling being the Alienation Fine on the within Lands for use Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General 9 sides Recorded 2.d day of April 1770 Jn.o Brice X.d Frederick County in Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this 27.th day of March in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between the Honourable Daniel Dulany of the City of Annapolis Esq.r of the one part and Samuel Beall Jun.r of Frederick County aforesaid Gentleman of the other part Whereas by Indenture of Bargain and Sale bearing date on or about the Ninth day of February which was in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and fifty eight and made between the said Samuel Beall of the one part and the above named Daniel Dulany of the other part he the said Samuel Beall for the Considerations therein mentioned did give grant Bargain sell Alien release and Confirm unto the said Daniel Dulany his Heirs and Assigns all that Tract or Parcel of Land the Dwelling Plantation of the said Samuel Beall being part of Charles and William and containing Three Hundred and Seventy two Acres lying in Frederick County aforesaid And also all his part of a Tract of Land called Benjamin lying and being in the same County containing one Hundred and thirty nine Acres was the same more or Less and also all that part or parcel of a Tract of Land called the Addition to Mill Seat belonging to the said Samuel Beall Containing two hundred and Seventy five Acres and lying in Frederick County aforesaid To Hold the said Several Tracts of Land unto the said Daniel Dulany his Heirs and Assigns for ever Redeemable Nevertheless if the said Samuel Beall his Heirs Executors or Administrators should pay or cause to be paid unto the said Daniel Dulany his Executors Administrators or Assigns the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain with Legal Interest for the same from the date of the same recited Deed as in and by such Deed remaining among the Records of Frederick County aforesaid when relation is thereunto for that Purpose had may more plainly appear Now This Indenture Witnesseth that in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling being in full for Principal and Interest due on the said recited Indenture of Mortgage to him the said Daniel Dulany in hand well & truly paid by the said Samuel Beall at and before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of and from the same and every part and Parcel thereof doth by these Presents Acquit release Exonerate and forever Discharge the said Samuel Beall his (Heirs) |
