667 Beall and his Heirs shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Samuel Beall hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and Year first within Written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of us John Beall Jun.r (Seal) NB. the word Land in the Thirty Ar.t Charlton Eighth Line Interlin'd before signed Tho Price On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the day and Year of the within Written Indenture Received of Walter Beall the Sum of Five hundred and fifty Pounds being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid I say received by me Witness Ar.t Charlton Sam.l Beall Jun.r Tho Price Frederick County fs.t On the Thirtieth day of March 1770 Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid Samuel Beall Junior party to the within Instrument of Writing and Acknowledged the Same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within named Walter Beall his Heirs and Assigns for ever Acknowledged before Tho Price W.m Luckett Reced two Shillings and two pence Sterling being the Alienation fine on the within Land for use of Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Jn.o Brice 6 Sides Recorded 2.d Day of April 1770 X.d This Indenture made the Thirtieth day of March in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Samuel Beall Jun.r of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Richard beall of Samuel of the Province and County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel beall for and in Consideration of the sum of Five Hundred & fifty Pounds Sterling MOney to him in hand paid by the said Richard Beall the receipt whereof the said Samuel Beall doth hereby acknowledge and every part and parcel thereof doth hereby Acquit Exonerate and fully discharge the said Richard Beall have given granted bargained sold and ^and by these Presents have given granted bargained sold and^ Confirmed unto the said Richard Beall in his Actual Possession now being his Heirs and Assigns forever all that of Land called the Charles and William resurveyed begining at the end of Twenty one Perches on the Thirtyeth Line of a Tract of Land called the Labyrinth resurveyed by William Beall and James Edmonstone and runing thence South four degrees West Twenty one Perches South fifty two degrees East Fifty Perches North Twenty nine degrees East Sixty six Perches South South East one Hundred and seventy four Perches East one Hundred & fifty Perches North West ten Perches North Twenty nine degrees West Ninety four Perches to the given Line of a Tract of Land sold to Charles Perry by William Beall it being part if a Tract of Land called the Charles and William and runing with said given Line reverst North Seventy three degrees East Seventy Perches to the begining Tree of said Perrys Land then West Nineteen Perches North Thirty four Perches North West Sixty six Perches North forty three and one half degrees West Thirteen Perches North Twenty three Degrees West Thirty nine Perches North ten degrees East forty seven Perches (South) |
