666 within mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of the within John Glover his Heirs and Assigns for ever And at the same time Came Mary wife to the aforesaid John Dorsey who being by us privately Exam.d out of the Hearing of her said Husband and Acknowledged that she gave up her Write of Dower to the within Land and that she did it freely without the Fears or Threats of her said Husband according to the true Intent & Meaning of these Presents John Burgess Jun.r Basil Burgess Reced of John Glover the Sum of Seven Shillings and four pence Sterling being the Alienation Fine on the within Land for use of Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General J Brice 8 Sides Recorded 2.d Day April 1770 X.d This Indenture made this Thirtieth day of March in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Samuel Beall Junior of Frederick County and Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Walter Beall of the County and Province aforesaid Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Beall for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Hundred and fifty pounds Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Walter Beall at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he the said Samuel Beall doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of every part & parcell thereof doth Acquit and discharge the said Walter Beall his Heirs Executors & Administrators he the said Samuel Beall hath given granted bargained Sold and Aliened released and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant bargain Sell Alien release and Confirm unto the said Walter Beall his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract of Land laying in the County aforesaid being part of a Tract of Land called the Resurvey on Addition to Mill Seat laying to the Southward of a Line drawn East and West from the Begining Tree of a parcel of Land sold of the said Tract unto William Brown Containing Thirty five Acres more or Less as also part of a Tract of Land called the Enlargement Containing Twenty Acres more or Less formerly conveyed unto said Samuel Beall Junior by a certain Ninian Beall Laying in the County aforesaid together with all the Rights Members & Appurtenances to the said part or parcels of said Tracts of Land belonging or in any wise Appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and all the Estate Right Title Claim and Demand both in Law and Equity of him the said Samuel Beall Junior his Heirs and Assigns To Have and to Hold all and Singular the said part of two Tracts of Land and Premises and every part & parcel thereof with the Appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto the said Walter Beall his Heirs and Assigns forever and to and for no other use Intent and Purpose whatsoever and the said Samuel Beall Jun.r for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth Covenant grant and Agree to and with the said Walter Beall his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Samuel Beall the aforesaid part of two Tracts of Land and Premises with the Appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof from and against him the said Samuel (Beall) |
