661 aforesaid Land called Hammonds pursuit North forty degrees West forty seven Perches still with the said Land North Forty degrees East Thirty perches on that Line then Leaving the Line a Cross the Land to the end of the Tenth Corse of the aforesaid Tract called Edwards Discovery thence South forty four degrees East twenty three perches thence North forty degrees East Thirty perches thence North forty nine degrees East one Hundred and ten perches to a marked White Oak Sappling then from the end of one Hundred and ten perches and the Sapling aforesaid a Cross the said Land to the end of the Corse South one hundred and fifty perches being the Last Corse of a Tract of Land called Tevis's Adventure Adjoyning a bent in the western falls commonly known by the Name of the deep hole then from the end of the said Line binding on and running up with the said Western falls and the Meanders of the said Falls till it Intersects with the Piney falls and then to the first beginning Stone to Containe all the Land of Edwards Discovery on Baltimore County side Containing and Laid out for Seventy seven Acres more or Less as also beginning for the Second Tract called Brunts Meadow as a Bounded Maple and bounded Sychmore Tree standing on a Bank on the North side of the Western falls of Patapsco and Running thence South Eighteen degrees East Nine Perches South Sixty four degrees East Twenty six Perches South Seventy nine degrees East Seven Perches North Twenty five degrees East Nineteen Perches then with a Streight Line to the Beginning Containing and now Laid out for Three Acres of Land more or Less togeather with all & Singular the Premises and Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Rezin Hammond his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Rezin Hammond and his Heirs and Assigns for ever And it is Covenanted and Granted Between the said John Brunts and Rezin Hammond that the said John Brunt and his Heirs the said Land and Premises unto him the said Rezin Hammond and his Heirs and from and against all and every person or persons whatsoever that shall or may lay any Claim thereto the said John Brunts or his Heirs shall and will Warrant and for ever hereafter defend by these Presents and it is further Covenanted and Granted by and Between the said John Brunts and Rezin Hammond that the said John Brunts and his Heirs shall and will at the Request of him the said Rezin Hammond and his Heirs make do or suffer to be done any other and further Reasonable Act or Acts thing or things Devise or Devises in the Law whatsoever which by him the said Rezin Hammond or his Heirs shall be thought proper for the better Suretie and more shore making of the said Lands and Premises unto him the said Rezin Hammond his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Witness whereof the Parties first above mentioned have hereunto set their hands and Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above Written Sign.d Sealed and Deliver.d Sam.l Owings Jun.r in the Presence of us Thomas Phillipes John Brunts (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Rece.d the 12.th March 1770 of the within Named Rezin Hammond and the Sum of one hundred and forty Pounds Currency being the Consideration within mentioned John Brunts Witness Sam.l Owings Jun.r |
