          March 12.th 1770 Then came before us two of his Lordships Justices for
       Baltimore County the within Named John Brunts and Acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing as his Act and Deed and the Land and
       Premises therein Contained to be the Right and Estate of the within Named
       Rezin Hammond his Heirs and Assigns for ever And at the same time
       Came Elizabeth the Wife of the said John Brunts who being Privately
       Examined and out of the Hearing of her said Husband Declared that
       she gave up all her Right and Title and Interest of in and to the
       said Land and Premises unto the above Named Rezin Hammond his
       Heirs and Assigns freely and Willingly and without the fear of or the
       Threats or Displeasure of her said Husband Agreeable to the True Intent
       and Meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in such
       Case made and Provided      Taken and Acknowledged before us the
       Subscribers

       Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this Thirty first day of
       March Anna Domina one Thousand seven hundred & Seventy
       Between John Dorsey Gent.n of Ann Arundel County and
       Province of Maryland of the one part and Vachel Dorsey of of County
       and Province aforesaid Gent.n of the other part Witnesseth that the said
       John Dorsey for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred
       and fifty Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid
       by the said Vachel Dorsey at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of
       these Presents the Receipts of which he the said John Dorsey doth hereby
       Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and from every part and
       Parcel thereof Doth freely fully and Absolutely Exonerate Acquit and
       discharge the said Vachel Dorsey his Heirs Executors & Administrators
       and every of them by these Presents for ever Hath given granted bargained
       Sold Alien'd Enfeoffed and Confirm'd and by these Presents Doth fully
       Clearly and Absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and
       Confirm unto him the said Vachel Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for
       ever the Three following Tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in
       Baltimore County and Province aforesaid (that is to say) Part of a
       Tract of Land call'd Dorseys Thickett Beginning for the same Thirty one
       Perches on the South Seventy six degrees West Sixty two Pearch Line of
       the said Dorseys Thickett and running thence South Seventy six
       degrees West Thirty one Pearches then running the Original Courses
       thereof South Sixteen degrees East Eighteen Pearches South Seventy
       Degrees West Twenty pearches South Thirteen degrees West Ninety
       Perches West Thirty eight pearches South fifty eight degrees West
