       This Indenture made this Eigth day of March in the Year of our Lord
       Seventeen hundred and Seventy Between Joseph Galloway of Ann Arundel County of
       the one part and Ann Ogle of the City of Annapolis and Robert Carter of the Colony of
       Virginia Esquire of the other part Whereas on or about the eighth day of May in the
       Year Seventeen hundred and Sixty five the Honourable Benjamin Tasker Esq.r lately
       Deceased by a certain Deed indented reciting that Benjamin Tasker Junior Esq.r
       Late of the City of Annapolis deceased the Son of the said Benjamin Tasker Sen.r
       was in his Lifetime seized together with Charles Carroll Esq.r Charles Carroll
       Barrister Charles Carroll son of Daniel Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany of
       and in one Iron Furnace erected on Charles's Run near Gwins Falls in
       Baltimore County one Forge erected on the said Gwins Falls one other Forge
       erected ^on^ Jones's Falls in the said County and also of divers and sundry Tracts
       of Land and Parts of Tracts of Land lying some of them in the said County others
       of them in Ann Arundel County and some lying partly in Ann Arundel and partly
       in Baltimore County and was also possessed together with the said Charles Carroll
       Esquire Charles Carroll Barrister Charles Carroll son of Daniel Daniel Dulany and
       Walter Dulany of sundry and many Servants Negroes Horses Cattle Carriages
       Implements Tools and other Stock usually employed or designed to be employed
       in the making of Iron all and every of which Iron Works Lands and Stock
       were held or intended so to be as Tenants in Common in the Proportions following
       to wit the said Benjamin Tasker Jun.r one undivided fifth part thereof the said
       Charles Carroll Esquire one undivided fifth part thereof the said Charles Carroll
       Barrister one undivided fifth part thereof the said Charles Carroll son of Daniel
       one undivided fifth part thereof the said Daniel Dulany one undivided Tenth
       part thereof and the said Walter Dulany one undivided Tenth part thereof and that
       the said Benjamin Tasker junior so being seized and possessed by his Last Will and
       Testament in Writing duly proved and recorded in ^the^ Perogative Court amongst other
       Things did devise to him the said Benjamin Tasker Senior all his Lands and
       Real Estate to be by him sold and Disposed of and the Monies or Produce thence
       arising to be by him applyed in the Manner therein directed and of his said
       Will appointed the aforesaid Benjamin Tasker Senior Executor who took upon
       himself the Burthen of the Execution thereof and further reciting that since the
       Death of the said Benjamin Tasker Junior one other Forge had been erecting
       building and carrying on on Patapsco main Falls near Elk Ridge Landing
       which had before been Agreed to be built by the said Benjamin Tasker Junior
       Charles Carroll Esquire Charles Carroll Barrister Charles Carroll son of Daniel
       Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany in the Proportions aforesaid and that there
       had been also some Purchases of Lands made Convenient and for the use of the
       Iron Works aforesaid since the Death of the said Benjamin Tasker Junior the
       Legal Estate in whose share had been Vested in the said Benjamin Tasker
       Esquire or if the Legal Estate had not been conveyed his Name had been inserted
       in the Contracts therefor and reciting also that he the said Benjamin Tasker
       Esquire on the Thirteenth day of March then Last past at the House of William
       Reynolds in Annapolis after advertising the same in the Maryland Gazettee
       for Six weeks Successively had set up and Exposed to Sale by Way of Vendue
       the said Benjamin Tasker Junior his one undivided fifth part or share of
