Administrators and Assigns according to the true Intent & meaning of the said Deed for the Term therein mentioned R Ghiselin Recorded 20.th Decem.r 1769 Rob.t Couden 6½ sides X.d Know all men by these Presents that I Wright Mills of the City of Annapolis Carpenter for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred and Ninety four Pounds sixteen Shillings and six pence Current Money of Maryland to me in hand paid by Jonathan Pinkney of the City of Annapolis have Assigned Transferred and set over and by these Presents do Assign Transfer and set over unto the said Jonathan Pinkney his Executors Administrators and Assigns all my Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand unto the Messuage or House and the Slip of Land whereon the same is now Built and all and Singular the Buildings Houses out Houses and Appurtenances to the same belonging ^as expressed^ in a Lease this day granted to me by Elizabeth Bordley of the City of Annapolis refference unto the said Lease being had will more fully appear In Witness whereof I the said Wright Mills have hereunto set my hand and Affixed my Seal this 20.th day of December one Thousand seven hundred and sixty nine Test Corn.s Garretson Wright Mills (seal) Philip Meroney Recorded 21.st Decem.r 1769 2 Sides X.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these Presents that We John Clapham John Hall and Lloyd Dulany all of the City of Annapolis Gentlemen are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his Heirs and Successors in the full and just Sum of Six Thousand Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Lord Proprietary his Heirs and Successors To the which Payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves Heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this Twenty third day of December Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and sixty Nine The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bound John Clapham whilst he shall continue in the office of Commissioner for emitting Bills of Credit shall well and faithfully observe and Execute the Trust reposed in him by the Act of Assembly of this Province Entitled an Act for Emitting Bills of Credit and other purposes therein mentioned according to the true Intent and meaning thereof Then the above Obligation to be Void and of none Effect otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue Sign'd Sealed and Delivered John Clapham (Seal) in the Presence of Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer J Hall (seal) Fred Stone Lloyd Dulany (seal) Recorded 25.th December 1769 |
