642. Leased set and to farm Let and by these Presents Doth demise Lease ^sett^ and to farm Let unto the said Wright Mills All that Messuage or House near the Town Gate on the Right Hand as you go out wherein Thomas Jobson formerly Dwelt and now in the Occupation of the said Wright Mills with the Slip of Land wherein the same is now Built with all and Singular the Buildins Houses out Houses and Appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to Hold the said Messuage or House and Slip of Land as aforesaid Described hereafter Demised or mentioned or intended so to be with all and Singular their Appurtenances unto the said Wright Mills his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Twenty Eighth day of May in the Year Seventeen hundred and sixty eight for and during and untill the full end and Term of Sixty Years then next following and fully to be Compleat and ended Yielding and paying therefore yearly and every Year during the said Term unto the said Elizabeth Bordley her Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the just and full Sum of Two pounds ten shillings sterling Money of Great Britain the first Payment to be made on the Twenty eighth day of May which shall be in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred & seventy and the said Wright Mills for himself his Executors Administrators & Assigns doth Covenant grant and Agree to and with the said Eliz.a Bordley her Heirs and Assigns that he the said Wright Mills his Executors Administrators or Assigns or some or one of them shall and will well & truly pay or cause to be paid to the said Eliz.a Bordley her Heirs or Assigns the Yearly Rent of Two pounds ten shillings Sterling Money of Great Britain aforesaid hereby Reserved and according to the Reservation aforesaid Provided always that if the said yearly Rent or any part thereof shall remain due & unpaid by the space of six Months after the Time on which the same ought to be paid that then the said Eliz.a Bordley her Heirs or Assigns shall and may reenter into the said Demised Premisses and every part thereof and the same rehave repossess and enjoy in her and their former Estate and this Present Demise shall thenceforth cease and Determine In Witness whereof the said parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written Signed sealed & Delivered Elizabeth Bordley (seal) in the Presence of R Ghiselin Wright Mills (seal) Rob.t Couden On the Back of the aforegoing Lease was thus Endorsed Viz.t December the 20.th day 1769 Came the within named Elizabeth Bordley and Wright Mills before the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County and acknowledged the foregoing Instrument to be their respective Act and Deed and that the within Demised Premisses are the property of the aforesaid Wright Mills his Executors (Administrators) |
