(621) hundred and Sixty nine three hundred and twenty two pounds Seventeen Shillings and Six Pence Sterling Money of Great Britain in full of the Consideration Money in the within Deed mentioned Witness my hand Witness Th.s Johnson Jun.r Th B Hands Cha Carroll Be it Remembered that on this twenty seventh Day of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices come in his proper person the within Charles Carroll and acknowledges the within Indenture to be his act and Deed and the Lands and Premises therein mentioned and all his Right and Estate therein to be the proper Lands Estate and right of the within mentioned Edward Mitchell his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns in Manner and Form as in the within Indenture is mentioned and desired the same might be recorded accordingly Witness my hand the Day and Year above mentioned Recorded the 27.th Day of October 1769 Geo Steuart Know all men by these presents that I Alexander Warfield of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman for and in Consideration of the natural Love and Affection which I have and do bear unto my beloved on Charles Warfield and also for divers other good Causes and Considerations me hereunto moving and likewise for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling Money to me in Hand paid by my said son Charles Warfield before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and my self to be fully therewith contented and paid have given granted aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents do give grant alien enfeoff and confirm unto him my said son all that tract or parcel of Land called Warfields Addition to Stringer's Chance lying and being in Frederick County and Containing Nineteen Acres of Land which said tract was granted unto me the said Alexander Warfield by Patent under the great seal of the Province of Maryland on the twenty sixth Day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty together with all and Singular the Premises and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or anyways Appertaining To have & to hold the said Land and Premises with the Appurtenances unto him my said son Charles Warfield his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever to and for the only proper use and Behoof of him my said son Charles Warfield his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever and to and for no other use intent and Purpose whatsoever And I the said Alexander Warfield all & singular the Lands and Premises with the Appurtenances hereby given & granted to him the said Charles Warfield my son his Executors Administrators and Assigns against me the said Alexander Warfield my Executors and Administrators and all and every other Person or Persons whatsoever claiming by from or under them or any of them (shall) |
