(562) Ex.d This Indenture made this thirty first day of March in the Year Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine Between John Frederick Augustus Priggs of Prince Georges County and Sarah his Wife of the one part and Henry Brooks of the same County 9¾ of the Other part Witnesseth that the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs and Sarah his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by the said Henry Brookes at or before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof the said John Frederick Augustus Priggs and Sarah his wife do hereby acknowledge Have and each of them hath granted bargained and Sold and by these presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain and Sell unto him the said Henry Brookes his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Tract or parcell of Land called Pheasant Hill (Alias Pheasants Hills) lying and being in Prince Georges County and containing fifty two Acres of Land Also all that tract or parcell of Land called Trueman's Hills lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid and containing one hundred and fifty Acres of Land Also that part of the aforesaid tract or parcell of Land call Pheasant Hill which is contained within the lines courses and distances following to wit Beginning at a bounded white oak Standing by a branch side it being the beginning Tree of a tract of Land called Prevention and a bounded tree of Pheasant Hill running thence East South East thirty three and an half perches thence by such a line drawn Northerly to intersect the given line of Pheasant Hill as will divide the tract in two equal parts (exclusive of eleven Acres that is included in a Mortgage from James Greenfield to Thomas Trueman Greenfield) also All that part of the aforesaid tract or parcell of Land called Truemans Hills which is contained within the lines courses and distances following to wit Beginning at the beginning of Thomas Smith Greenfields eighty five Acres of the said Land being the end of the last Course of the part laid out for Joshua Beall and Eleanor his Wife and in the head line of the parcell of Land Mentioned in a Deed of Trust from James Greenfield to his Wife Eleanor Greenfield and his three Children Sarah Eleanor and Thomas Smith Greenfield and running thence with the first line of Thomas Smith Greenfield's eighty five Acres viz.t South Sixty three degrees thirty minutes westerly two hundred and eight perches to the third Line being the South twenty nine Degrees East line of a parcell of Land formerly Mortgaged by James Greenfield deceased to his Brother Thomas Trueman Greenfield of Saint Marys County which said parcell of Land is now in the possession of the said Thomas Smith Greenfield thence running with the said line and bounding therewith South twenty nine Degrees East Untill intersects the Main North Branch of Deep Creek thence down the said Branch as the said Branch runneth and Bounding therewith until it intersects with the fourth line being the west thirty Six perch Line of the parcell of Land Mentioned in the Deed of Trust aforesaid thence running with the said Line West to the end thereof thence with the fifth Line of the said Land North west thirty two perches thence with the head line of the said Land and bounding therewith North eight Degrees East to the beginning aforementioned Containing One hundred and thirty five Acres of Land more or less together with all Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards ways waters water courses Commodities priviledges Improvements Emoluments Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same Several tracts and parcells of Land belonging or appurtaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders Rents Issues and profitts of the same and of every part and parcell thereof To have and to hold the same Several tracts and parcells of Land and each and every and every part and parcell of each and every of them unto him the said Henry Brookes his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day next before the day of the Date of these presents for and during and until the full end and term of one whole year from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and ended to the intent and Purpose (that by force and virtue of these (presents) |
