       his substitute or substitutes or any or either of them shall lawfully do or cause to be done in and
       about the premises by Virtue of these presents we do and each and every and either of us Doth
       hereby Allow Own Ratify and Confirm In Witness whereof We the said Samuel Peach Isaac

       set our hands and seals the seventeenth Day of September in the Eighth Year of
       the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France

       To all to whom these presents shall come I George Weare Esquire Mayor of the City of
       Bristol In Pursuance of an Act of Parliament made and Passed in the Fifth Year of the
       Reign of his late Majesty King George the second Intitled an Act for the more easy Recovery
       of debts in his Majesties Plantations and Colonies in America do hereby Certify that  
       on the day of the Date hereof Personally came and appeared before me Daniel Burges of the
       City of Bristol aforesaid Gentleman the Deponent named in the Affidavit hereunto annexed
       being a Person well known and worthy of good Credit and by Solemn Oath which the said
       Deponent then took before me upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God did Solemnly
       and Sincerely declare Testify and Depose to be true the Several matters and things
       Mentioned and contained in the said annexed Affidavit
       Ge.o Weare Mayor      In Faith and Testimony whereof I the said Mayor have Caused the Seal
                                           of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of Bristol to be hereunto Put and affixed

       of the Faith &C To Our Trusty and well beloved Bowles Scudamore Henry Hobhouse the
       Younger Esquires George Tyndale Thomas Evans and Thomas Symonds Gentlemen Greeting
       Whereas we are informed that Samuel Sedgley William Hillhouse and William Randolph
       of the City of Bristol Merchants and Partners using and exercising the Trade of
       Merchandize by way of bargaining Exchange Bartering and Chevisance Seeking their
       Trade of living by buying and selling about         since did become Bankrupts within the
       Several Statutes made against Bankrupts to the Intent to Defraud and Hinder John
       Powell of the City of Bristol Merchant and Others their Creditors of their Just Debts and
       Dutys to them due ^and^ owing we minding the Due Execution as well of the statute touching
       orders for Bankrupts made in the parliament begun and Holden at Westminster the
       Second Day of April in the thirteenth year of the Reign of Elizabeth late Queen of England
       made and provided as of the Statute made in the First Year of the Reign of the late King
       James the First Intituled an Act for the better Relief of Creditors against such as shall become
       Bankrupts and also of the Statute made in the one and Twentieth Year of the Reign of the
       said late King James Intituled and Act for the further description of a Bankrupt and Relief of      
       Creditors against such as shall become Bankrupts and for Inflicting Corporal Punishment upon
       the Bankrupts in some Special Cases and also of the Statute made in the fifth Year of the
       Reign of his late Majesty King George the Second Intituled an Act to Prevent the Committing
       of Frauds by Bankrupts upon Trust of the Wisdom Fidelity Dilegence and Provident Circumspection
       which we have Conceived in you do by these presents name Assign appoint Constitute
       and Ordain you our Special Commissioners Hereby Giving full Power and Authority unto
