(535) or Recoveries shall so Stand and be Seized thereof to the Proper use and behoof of the said Daniel Dulany his Heirs and Assigns forever and to or for no Other Use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably Set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered by the before Mention Dan.l Dulany (Seal) Daniel Dulany and John Colegate in the Presence of his Geo Steuart U Scott John X Colegate (Seal) Mark John Welsh (Seal) Witnesses to the Execution of this Deed by W.m Hammond (Seal) Dan.l Dulany, John Colegate, Walter Dulany Ja.s Franklin (Seal) Clement Brooke Witnesses to the Execution of this Deed Walter Dulany (Seal) by John Welsh William Hammond Thomas Lingan Jun.r & James Franklin Charles Carroll of Carrolton (Seal) Geo Steuart Witnesses to the Execution of Will.m Steuart this Deed by C C of Carroltown On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed to wit Reced on the day & Year first within written of & from the within Mentioned John Welsh William Hammond and James Franklin five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned to be by them Paid to me Witness Reced on the Day and year first within written of and from the within Mentioned John Welsh William Hammond and James Franklin One hundred Pounds Pensylvania Current Money being the Consideration within Mentioned to be by them paid to me his Witness Geo Steuart John X Colegate Mark On the fifth day of November 1768 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Daniel Dulany and John Colegate and Severally Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their respective Act and Deed and the Land and Appurtenances therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named John Welsh William Hammond and James Franklin their Heirs & Assigns forever to and for the uses Intents and Purposes therein Expressed according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Before Geo Steuart 3¼ Recorded the 12.th day of April 1769 Exam.d This Indenture Made the 12.th day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty nine Between John Bailey of Baltimore County Planter of the One Part and Daniel Dulany of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said John Bailey for and in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred and fifty two Pounds Sterling to him in hand (Paid) |
