       On the fifth day of November 1768 Came before me the Subscriber one of
       his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Daniel Dulany and
       John Colegate and Severally Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing
       to be their respective Act and Deed and the Land and Appurtenances therein
       Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named John Welsh
       William Hammond and James Franklin their Heirs & Assigns forever to and
       for the uses Intents and Purposes therein Expressed according to the true Intent
       and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided

       Recorded the 12.th day of April 1769

       This Indenture Made the 12.th day of April in the year of our Lord One
       thousand Seven hundred and Sixty nine Between John Bailey of Baltimore
       County Planter of the One Part and Daniel Dulany of the City of Annapolis Esquire
       of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said John Bailey for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of two hundred and fifty two Pounds Sterling to him in hand
