(503) Continuance of the said Lease the Sum of forty five Shillings Sterling in Silver or Gold to the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors or Administrators the first Payment to be made on the first day of February which shall be in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Seventy and the said William Reynolds for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby Covenant and Agree to and with the said Samuel Chase his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that after the Expiration of the said Term of years in Case he the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors or Administrators shall and do renew the Lease aforesaid made with the Rector and Vestery of S.t Anns Parrish aforesaid for any Other Term of years that he the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns Shall also renew the Lease for the above Parcell of Land and Premisses hereby demised for such farther term of years as his said Lease shall be renewed by the said Rector and Vestry of the Parrish aforesaid for the time being Unto him the said Samuel Chase his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns he or they Paying Unto him the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns for ever such renewment the further Sum of forty five Shillings like Sterling Money aforesaid to be Paid unto him the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns and the said Samuel Chase for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns doth hereby Covenant and Agree to and with the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors and Administrators that in Case the yearly Rent aforesaid should be in Arrear and Unpaid for the Space of twenty days after every of the days of Payment aforesaid that then it shall and May be Lawfull for the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors or Administrators to reenter and distrain for the same or to hold the Premisses aforesaid demised till the Rent aforesaid Shall be Paid at the Election and to the full Satisfaction and Contentment of him the said William Reynolds his Heirs Executors or Administrators for the time being and for want of Such Payment and Satisfaction made the said Premisses to hold Occupy and Enjoy as if this demise had Never been made In Witness whereof the Parties above Mentioned have hereunto Set their hands and Affixed their Seals the day and year above Written Signed Sealed and Deliver'd W.m Reynolds (Seal) In Presence of Sam.l Chase (Seal) Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Fred Stone On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed On the 21.st day of February Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and sixty Nine Came the within William Reynolds and Samuel Chase Parties to the within Deed before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Instrument to (be) |
