(499) in Talbot County but now in Dorchester County aforesaid on the North Side of the main Stream of the North East Branch of great Choptank River next above the Land of Col.o Vincent Lowe called Touton field Beginning at a white Oak by the Branch of the River near a Valley marked with fifteen Notches Viz.t five five and five being the Eastermost bounded Tree of Touton Field thence running by the River side to Another great white Oak marked with five Notches two Notches and five Notches standing by the Branch of the River to the Eastward of a Small Point and within a Little Marshy Valley running across the Mouth of that Little Point which Last Mentioned Oak stands One hundred and fifty Perches East from the first Oak and from that Oak Marked five Notches two Notches and five Notches it runs North Six hundred and forty Perches into the Woods bounded on the North by a Line drawn West one hundred and fifty Perches to Touton Field on the West bounded by Touton Field and running paralel therewith Six hundred & forty Perches South to the beginning on the South bounded by the River on the East by that North Line Containing and Laid out for Six hundred Acres more or less Together with all and Singular the Houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings Gardens Ways Waters Water Courses Commodities Priviledges and Advantages to the same Tract of Land thereby granted bargained and Sold or intended so to be belonging or in any wise Appertaining And the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of Every Part and Parcel thereof and also all the Estate Right Title Interest use [illegible] Profit Property Claim and Demand Whatsoever of him the said Joseph Gill of into and out of the same Tract thereby granted bargained and Sold or Intended so to be and Premisses with the Appurtenances and of into and out of every Part and Parcel thereof To have and to hold the said Tract of Land thereby Granted bargained and Sold or intended so to be and Premisses with the Appurtenances and every part and Parcel thereof to him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns to the only Proper Use and Behoof of him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns forever under the Condition or Proviso Nevertheless that if the said Joseph Gill his Heirs Executors Admr.s or Assigns Should and did well and truly Pay or cause to be Paid unto the said William Brown his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Sum of four hundred and twenty one Pounds and six pence Sterling Money with Legal Interest thereon at or before the first Day of January Seventeen hundred and Sixty five without fraud or Deduction then the said Indenture and every Matter Clause Article and thing therein Contained should cease determine and be Utterly void to all Intents and Purposes whatsoever as in and by the same Indenture may more fully appear and Whereas the said William Brown Afterwards to wit on or about the first Day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five the (said) |
