(474) Be it remembred that on the twenty third Day of September in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty eight came the within named Susannah Heath Party to the within Deed before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and acknowledged the same to be her Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses thereby Bargained and Sold to be the Estate Right Title and Intrest of the within named William Hall his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Writing Taken and acknowledged the Day and Year aforesaid before us John Harris Jn.o Mathews I have Rec.d the sum of one shilling and one half penny for Alienation Fine on the within Land November 22.d 1768 Bennet Allen Recorded the 22.d Day of November 1768 Examd This Indenture made the second Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Between John Hall of Beadford County in the Colony of Virginia Farmer of the one part and John Mathias of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Hall for and in Consideration of the sum of seventeen Pounds to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said John Mathias the receipt whereof the said John Mathias his Executors and Administrators hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said John Mathias his Heirs and Assigns all that Tract or parcel of Land called Halls Addition lying and being on the Line between Frederick and Baltimore County's on the Fork of Great Pipe Creek Beginning South thirty and a half Degrees West thirty six and a half Perches distant from the beginning tree of the aforesaid Land and runing then North fifty five Degrees Eat one hundred and twenty seven perches then North forty three Degrees West twenty four Perches then South fifty five Degrees West one hundred and twenty two Perches and then with a streight line to the first Beginning containing and now laid out for Nineteen Acres of Land be the same more or less Together with all and singular the Appurtenances and Buildings whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining to belong To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land called Halls Addition and Premisses aforesaid with the Appurtenances to the said John Mathias his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and (Behoof) |
