       Lands lying on Deer Creek with a Forge and other Buildings thereon known
       by the Name of the Lancashire Forge and have also built and erected Iron Forges
       and all other necessary Buildings on the Great Falls of Gunpowder known and
       called by the Name of the Nottingham Forges  And Whereas the said parties
       to these presents are Owners and Proprietors of the said Furnace and Forges with
       all the Lands belonging to the same and are also possessed in Company of many
       Negroes White Servants Horses and Cattle and Stock of all kinds to the said
       Works and Company belonging  And Whereas the said Alexander Lawson
       hath Agreed for the Absolute Sale and disposal of his undivided fourth part of
       the said Works, Lands, Negroes and Stock for the Consideration herein after
       mentioned   Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Alexander
       Lawson for and in consideration of the sum of Five thousand Pounds Sterling
       to him in hand paid by the said James Russell, Walter Ewer, John Ewer and John
       Buchanan the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained
       and sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents doth
       grant Bargain and sell alien enfeoffe release and confirm unto the said
       James Russell, Walter Ewer, John Ewer and John Buchanan their Heirs and
       Assigns all that the said Alexander Lawson his undivided fourth part of all and
       singular the Tracts parcells and parts of Tracts of Lands of which he the said
       Alexander Lawson is seized possessed or Entituled to in any Manner either in
       Jointenancy or Tenancy in Common with the said James Russell, Walter Ewer,
       John Ewer and John Buchanan and which Lands are held and enjoyed in the
       Partnership called the Nottingham Company be the same Lands situate in
       Baltimore and Ann Arundel Counties or elsewhere together with all Furnaces
       Forges Mills Coal Houses Dwelling Houses and other Buildings and Improvements
       whatever and all Mines Ore Banks Woods under Woods Timber Trees Ways
       Waters Water Courses Easements Commodities and Advantages whatsoever to
       the said Lands and premisses or any or either of them or in any wise appertaining
       And also all that the said Alexander Lawson his undivided fourth part of all
       Negroes White Servants Horses Cattle and all other Stock and all Sloops Schooners
       Flats Boats and other Vessels and all Household Furniture and Store Goods and all
       and every the Carts Waggons and each and every Utensil implement and every
       other Article and thing whatsoever belonging or appertaining to the said Furnace
       or Forges or either of them or which is or are held claim'd or had in Possession
       by the said Nottingham Company and also the reversion and reversions remainder
       and remainders Rents Issues and profits of the said premisses and every part
       thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust property Claim and
       Demand whatsoever of him the said Alexander Lawson of in to or out of the
       aforesaid Land and premisses and other the Negroes and Stock hereby
       bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be  To have and to
       hold one undivided third part of the said Alexander Lawson his undivided
