(459) said Moiety or half Part of the said Tract of Land belonging or in any ways Appurtaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of Every Part and Parcell thereof To have and to Hold the said Moiety or half Part of the said Tract of Land with the Appurtenances hereby Bargained and Sold or Mentioned or intended so to be unto the said William Paca his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Day next before the day of the Date of these Presents for and during the full End and Term of and one whole year from thence next Ensuing and fully to be compleat and Ended to the Intent and Purpose that the said William Paca may be in the Actual Possession of the said Moiety or half Part of the said Tract of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances and may hereby and by Force and Virtue of the Statute for Transferring Uses into Possession in that behalf made and Provided be Enabled to receive and take a Grant and release of the Reversion and Inheritance of the said Moiety or half Part of the said Tract of Land and Premisses hereby Bargained and Sold or Mentioned or intended so to be with the Appurtenances to him and his Executors Administrators and Assigns to such Uses and Purposes as shall be thereby declared In Witness whereof the said Parties to these Presents have hereunto Set their hands and Seals the day and year above Written Sign'd Sealed and Delivered John Beale Howard (Seal) in the Presence of W.m Paca (Seal) NRuxton Gay Benjamin Rogers Geo Chalmers On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit Received the day and year within Written of the within Named William Paca the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money in full for the Consideration Money within Mentioned to be by him Paid to me Jn.o Beale Howard Witness NRuxton Gay October 25.th 1768 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named John Beale Howard and acknowledged the within Instrument to be his Act and Deed for the uses within mentioned Recorded the 26.th October 1768 NRuxton Gay Benjamin Rogers Examd This Indenture Tripartite made the second Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Between John Beale Howard of Baltimore County Merchant and Blanch his Wife of the one part William Paca of Ann Arundel County of the other part and Daniel McGee of Baltimore County aforesaid Planter and Sarah his wife of the third part Witnesseth that the said John Beale Howard and Blanch his Wife for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling Money to him in Hand paid by him the (said) |
