       According to the true Intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case late
       made and provided and at the same time Cassandra the Wife of the said Thomas Linthicumb Acknowledged
       her Right of Dower to the within Land and Premises and acknowledged that She did the
       Same freely and Voluntarily without any Fear or Threats of her said Husband or for Fear of his
       Displeasure

             This Indenture Made this twenty sixth day of August in the year seventeen
       hundred and Sixty eight Between Robert Horner of Charles County in the province of Maryland
       Merchant of the one Part and John Crosbie and William Crosbie of Liverpool in the Kingdom of Great
       Britain Merchants and Surviving Partners of William Trafford now deceased of the other part
       Witnesseth that the said Robert Horner for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seven hundred
       and forty two pounds five Shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said John Crosbie
       and William Crobie the receipt whereof the said Robert Horner doth hereby acknowledge and there
       from acquit and Discharge the said John Crosbie and William Crosbie their Heirs Executors and
       Administrators and every of them by these presents  Hath Given granted bargained Sold aliened
       released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents  Doth give grant bargain sell Alien
       release enfeoff and Confirm unto them the said John Crosbie and William Crosbie their Heirs
       and Assigns All that tract or parcell of Land called Keeth's Rest formerly lying in Saint
       Marys County but now in Charles County aforesaid Containing and laid out for one hundred
       Acres of Land More or Less and heretofore Sold and Conveyed by a Certain Baker Brooke and
       Mary his Wife to the aforesaid Robert Horner also all that tract or parcell of Land Called
       Wood Low Grounds or Woods Low Ground lying and being in Charles County aforesaid
       Beginning at the West Line of a tract of Land Called Hitchin and running with the
       Road Westerly Ninety Perches then South to the aforesaid tract of Land called Hitchin then to
       the Beginning Containing and Laid out for thirteen acres of Land more or Less and heretofore
       sold and Conveyed by a Certain Peter Wood to the aforesaid Robert Horner Also all those
       tracts or parcells or Land Lying and Being in Charles County aforesaid Commonly Called
       and known by the Names of Hadlow and Hitchin on the East side of Piles's Swamp
       Beginning at a Bounded Poplar Standing in or near the South East Line of the said
       Swamp Running thence South forty three Degrees West five perches thence South thirty four
       Degrees West one hundred and forty Six perches thence South East Sixty Perchs thence North
       eighty Six Degrees East twenty Perches thence eighty one Degrees East thirty two perches thence
       North eighty Six Degrees East fourteen perches thence North Sixty three Degrees East twenty
       perches thence North forty Seven Degrees East twenty perches thence North twenty Degrees
