(422) Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I Joseph Alcock of Hutton Rooff In the Parish of Graystock in the county off Cumberland Blacksmith For Divers Good Causes and Considerations the hereunto moveing have made ordained Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents Do make ordain Constitute and Apoint and in my Stead and place Put and Depute John Denton of Warnell Hall in the Parish off Soberam in the said County Esq.r my True and Lawfull Attorney Irevocable Either by himself his Substitutes Assigns To Enter unto and Take Possession of all and Singular my messuages Lands and Tenements Plantations Commons Waists Tools Utensils Slaves Negros Goods Chattles Hereditaments and Premisses whatsoever and wharesoever of whatt Nature Kind or Quality Soever the same do or may Consist lying and Being in Mariland Virginia and Pensilvania or any off them with their and Every off their Rights Privilidges Members and Appurtenances and all and Singular other the premisses which I have a right to or Interest theirin on which I may Lawfully and rightfully clayme In any part off North America and in Caise he Shall meet with any Obstruction From the occupyers theiroff or any part theiroff for me and in my Name to Compell them thereto by a due Course off Law and allso do hereby further Impower him to Sell and Dispose off all or any of the Primisses when he shall have Recovred the Same and Receive the Rents and Income of all or any off the said Premisses and also To Settle accounts with the Occupyers theiroff and To Account To no Bodey But To me my heirs Executors or Administrators For the Rents Profites and Produse off all and Singular the said Premisses hereby Giving and Granting to my said Attorney my full Power Strength and Authority in and about the Premisses and upon Recept off any Debt Sume or Sums of money which Shall be made apear to be due and owing to the Acquitances and other Discharges for me to make and Seall and Delivere and all and Every other Act and thing Needfull to be Done in or about the promisses for the Recovery off any such Sume or Sumes off money afores.d for me and in my Name to do Execute and perform as Largely and Amply in Every Respect as I could do if I wear personally present hereby Revoking by these presents all former powers Rattifying and Holding Firm and valid all and whatsoever my said Atturney or his Substitude Shall Lawfully do or Cause to be Done in and about the premisses by virtue off these presents In Witness whereoff I the said Joseph Alcock have hereunto Sett my hand and Seall this twenty third Day off March in the Eight Year off the Reign off our Soverign Lord King George the third and the Year off our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and sixty Eight Signed Sealed and Delivered (Being first Legally Stampt) in the presence off us Joseph Alcock (Seal) W.m Pattison Isaac Told Tho.s Denton On the Back of the Aforegoing Letter of Attorney was thus Endorsed Viz.t Maryland |
