       Annarundel County fs.t
                                              On the thirty first day of October 1765
       came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of
       the Peace the within named Sophia Galloway and Acknowledged
       the Within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the
       Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be assigned allotted
       and granted bargained and Sold to the within named Stephen
       Watkins to be the Right and Estate of Him the said Stephen
       Watkins his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent
       and meaning of the within Deed and the act of assembly in such
       case made and provided
          Memorandum this Deed was Executed                    Jn.o Ijams
          at nine oClock on y.e 31.st Day of October 1765      Sam.l Chew
          in y.e after Known

       Received the 31.st October 1765 of Stephen Watkins twelve Shillings
       sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the alienation fine on
       the within land and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd
       Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General

Examined
          This Indenture made this twenty Eighth Day of October in the
       Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty five
       Between Laurance Oneall of Frederick County in the Province of
       Maryland Planter of the one part and William Wilson of Charles
       County and Province afores.d Planter of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said Laurance Oneall for and in consideration of the
       Sum of sixteen Pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain to hand
       in hand paid at the Signing and Ensealing of these Presents by the
       said William Wilson the Receipt whereof the said Lawrance Oneall
       doth hereby Acknowledge and himself thereof and of every part thereof
       to be fully satisfied contented and paid and him the said Laurance
       Oneall his heirs executors and adm.rs doth Acquit Exonerate &
       Discharge Hath given granted Aliened and Confirmed and by
       these presents doth give grant Alien and Confirm unto the
       said William Wilson his heirs and assigns all that Parcel or
       Tract of Land situate and lying in Frederick County Called and
       known by the name of Poplar Bottom Beginning at the End of
