             Be it remembred that on the twenty first Day of April in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Eight the within named Daniel Lambden and Sarah
       his wife Thomas Ringgold and James Tilghman the third personally appeared before
       me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court of Maryland and
       Acknowledged the within Deed to be their Act and Deed and the Lands and premisses
       therein contained to be the Right property and Estate of the within Thomas Ringgold & his
       heirs & Assigns forever according to the form force and Effect of the same Deed and
       that I did privately examine the said Sarah out of the hearing of her said Husband and
       she did declared that she made her said Acknowledgement willingly and freely and
       without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or Ill Usage from her said Husband
       or for fear of his Displeasure In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the

                      This Indenture Made the 23.d Day of May in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand seven hundred and Sixty eight Between Nicholas Briton of
       Baltimore County in the province of Maryland PLanter of the one part And Charles
       Ridgely Senior John Ridgely and Charles Ridgely Junior of the County and Province
       aforesaid Iron Masters of the other part Witness That the said Nicholas Briton for &
       in Consideration of the sum of five hundred and thirty eight pounds Current money by them
       the said Charles Ridgely Senior John Ridgely & Charles Ridgely ^Junior^ to him the said Nicholas
       Briton in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he the said
       Nicholas Briton doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth Acquit and discharge
       the said Charles Ridgely Sen.r John Ridgely and Charles Ridgely Junior their Heirs
       Executors and Administrators hath bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed
       And he the said Nicholas Briton for himself and his heirs by these presents Doth
       bargain sell Alien enfeoff and Confirm unto them the said Charles Ridgely Senior John
       Ridgely and Charles Ridgely Junior all these several Tracts or parcels of Land Situate
       lying and being in Baltimore County aforesaid one called by the Name of Boreings
       Forrest containing three hundred and fifty five Acres of Land more or Less one other
       called by the Name of Cuckold Makers Hazard Containing three hundred Acres of Land
       more or Less one other called by the Name of Boreings Guift Containing one hundred &
       fifty Acres of Land more or Less one other Called by the Name of Slabbang Town
       Containing One hundred Acres of Land more or Less One other called Michaels
       Meadow containing twenty Seven Acres of Land more or less together with all Houses
       Buildings Gardens Orchards ways waters water Courses woods underwoods Priviledges
       Advantages Improvements and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Several Tracts
       or parcels of Land belonging or in any wise Appertaining And all the Estate Right Title
       Intent use trust property claim Possession and demand whatsoever in Law and in Equity
       of him the said Nicholas Britton of in or to the Same Several Tracts or parcels of Land and every
       of them and other the premisses with the Appurtenances To have and to hold one undivided
       third part of the said Several Tracts or parcels of Land and each and every of them with their
       and each and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances to him the said Charles Ridgely
       Senior his heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Charles Ridgely
       his heirs and Assigns forever And to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever To have
