(377) his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever and ot none other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Cornelius Thompson for himself his heirs Executors Administrators doth Covenant and grant to and with the said John Hawkins his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that the aforesaid parcels of Lands premisses and Appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof is free and Clear and freely and Clearly Acquitted and Discharged of and from all manner and former Gifts, Grants, Bargains, Sales, Mortgages, Dowers Titles of Dowers Rents and Arrearages of Rents and all other Incumbrances of what Nature or kind soever (the Rents and Services hereafter to be due and payable to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees by whom the premisses are holden only Excepted and foreprized) and that he hath in himself good right full power and lawful Authority to grant Bargain Sell and assure the same in manner and form aforesaid And the said Cornelius Thompson for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby further Covenant and Grant to and with the said John Hawkins his heirs and Assigns that the said Cornelius Thompson his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Lands and premisses before by these presents Bargained and sold with the Appurtenances and every part and parcels thereof shall and will from Time to Time and at all Times forever hereafter warrant and defend of from and against all and all manner of person or persons whatsoever Claiming or to Claim any Right Title or Interest therein or thereto unto him the said John Hawkins his heirs and Assigns for ever And Lastly that the said Cornelius Thompson shall and will at any Time hereafter make do Acknowledge and Execute or cause to be made done acknowledged and executed any further or other Act or Acts Thing or Things Conveyances or Assureances in the Law whatsoever at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges of him the said John Hawkins his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns such as he the said John Hawkins his heirs or Assigns or his or their Counsel Learned in the Law shall reasonably Advise Devise or Require for the further better and more perfect sure making and Conveying the hereby before granted and Bargained premisses with the Appurtenances and every parte and parcels thereof unto him the said John Hawkins his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Witness whereof the said Cornelius Thompson hath hereunto sett his Hand Affixed his Seal the Day and Year first above written Sign'd Seald & Deliver'd in the presence of Cornelius Thompson (seal) Charles Jones Josi Beall Frederick County fs.t March 1.st 1768 Received of John Hawkins three hundred and fifty pounds Current Money of Maryland it being the Consideration Money within mentioned Cornelius Thompson Witness Charles Jones Josi Beall Frederick County fs.t March 1.st 1768 Corn.s Thompson came before us two of his Lordships (Justices) |
