(362) whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Affixed the publick Seal of the County afs.d this thirteenth Day of January in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty eight Thomas Sim Lee Cl of Prince Georges County Court 1768 January the 12.th Received four shillings and six pence Sterling as an Alienation Fine on the within one hundred and twelve Acres of Land by order of the Hon.ble Edward Lloyd Esq.r Agent for the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.y of Maryland John Hepburn Recorded 12.th February 1768 9 sides cost of copy $2.00 Ex.d This Indenture made this first Day of December in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and sixty seven between Andrew Theodore Bourdillon of London Weaver Eldest Son and Heir at Law of Benedict Bourdillon late of Baltimore County Clerk deceased and Jane Bourdillon of London widow and Relict of the said Benedict Bourdillon deceased by Daniel Dulany of Annapolis Esquire Barrister at Law and Walter Dulany of the same place Esquire their and each of their Attorneys on this Behalf Constituted and appointed on the one part and Richard Moale of Baltimore Town Merchant on the other part whereas the said Andrew Theodore Bourdillon and Jane Bourdillon by their Letter or Instrument of Attorney duly made executed and approved bearing Date on or about the twenty fourth Day of February seventeen hundred and sixty four did jointly and severally constitute and appoint the aforesaid Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany their Attorney and Attornies to treat for agree dispose of sell convey and Assure all Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and Chattles real situate lying and being in the Province of Maryland belonging unto them or wherein or whereunto they or either of them had any right title Interest or Demand whatsoever both at Law and in Equity and all and every sum and sums of Money which should or might arise and be received upon or under such Agreement or Sale by the said Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany or either of them to remit transmit or pay unto William Janssen of Cheshnut in the County of Hartford in England Esquire for and on the Behalf of them and each of them And they and each of them did also thereby impower and authorize their said Attorney and Attornies and each of them and the Survivor of them to do Act and Execute every matter and thing in and concerning the premisses ratifying and thereby confirming whatsoever their said Attorney and Attornies or either of them should lawfully do Act or Execute in or concerning the premisses as by the said letter or Instrument or Attorney remaining among the Records of the Provincial Court Relation being thereunto had may more fully appear And Whereas the said Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany in Pursuance and virtue of the said Letter or Instrument and by and under the Authority thereof have agreed on the Behalf and part of their said Constituents Andrew Theodore Bourdillon and Jane Bourdillon for and in Consideration of the sum of two hundred Pounds Sterling to sell unto the said Richard Moale the Lott Portion or piece of Ground in Baltimore Town (herein) |
