(360) 13 January 1768 Received of Athanasius Ford the sum of three shillings and ten pence sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation fine on the within land and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General J Brice Recorded the 13.th Day of January 1768 10½ sides vide page 307 Edmonston to Henderson Deed Reced 23.d Jany 1768 of M.r Richard Henderson the sum of four shillings and ten pence half penny Sterling Money for the use of Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation fine on the within Lands and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General J Brice Recorded the 29.th Day of January 1768 ¾ side Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth Day of Jan.r Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and sixty Eight between Thomas Snowden Samuel Snowden and John Snowden of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Iron Masters of the one part and Margery Beall of Prince Georges County and Province aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Snowden Samuel Snowden and John Snowden for an in Consideration of twenty eight Pounds Sterling Mo to them in Hand paid by the said Margery Beall the receipt whereof the said Thomas Snowden Samuel Snowden and John Snowden doth hereby acknowledge and themselves therewith to be fully satisfied contented and paid and thereof and therefrom doth Acquit and discharge the said Margery Beall her heirs and Assigns for Ever have bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Margery Beall her heirs and Assigns for Ever a certain part of a Tract of Land called Snowdens Mill Land lying and being in Frederick County and Containing one hundred and twelve Acres beginning at a Bounded white Oak the first bounded Tree of Snowdens Mill Land and running thence North thirty five Degrees West sixty nine perches then North thirty Degrees East twelve perches then South eighty six Degrees and a half West one hundred and seventy perches to Extent to the sixteenth Line of the Original Tract at the end of thirty eight perches on the said Line and runing with the said Line to the end thereof which is South ten Degrees East ninety two perches then south eighty eight Degrees East one hundred and seventy eight perches to intersect (the) |
