(347) December 2.d 1767 Received of Thomas Hyde the sum of seventy Pounds four shillings and seven pence Current Money being in full of the Consideration Money within mentioned £70 4 7 P me Henry Wright Test Tho.s Brooke Hodgkin Alexander Dickey On the 2.d Day of December 1767 Came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Henry Wright and acknowledged the within Deed or Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned to be the right Title and Estate of the within mentioned Thomas Hyde his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the true meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided Geo Steuart Recorded the 2.d Day of December 1767 10¾ sides Ex.d Mary Land fs To all People to whom these presents shall come I Adam Shipley of Ann Arundel County sendeth Greeting Know ye that I the said Adam Shipley as well for and in consideration of the Natural Affection and Fatherly love which I have and bear unto my Loving son Richard Shipley of Baltimore County as also for Divers other causes and Considerations at this present especially moving have given and granted and by these presents Doth give grant and confirm unto my said Son Richard Shipley all that part or parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called and known by the name of Addams Garden lying and being in Baltimore County begining for the said part or parcel of Land at the end of the twenty seventh Course of the said Addams Garden and runing thence south ten Degrees East thirty four Perches South forty six Degrees West forty perches North fifty Deg.rs West thirty perches North five Deg.rs West one hundred and four perches to the end of the fourth line of Addam Shipleys part of Johns Chance then North seventy five Degrees West one hundred perches South fifty four Degrees West sixty perches North seventy five Degrees West fifty eight perches until it intersects the South sixty six Degrees West one hundred and thirty perch line of the old tract of Land Called Johns Chance then bounding on the said line reversly North sixty six Degrees East seventy four perches then North sixty Degrees west thirty two perches to the end of the forty sixth Course of the old tract of Land called Johns Chance then North fifty seven Degrees East twenty perch.s North thirty eight Degrees West one hundred and three perches North thirty five Deg.rs East twenty perches North sixty five Degrees East forty two Perches North seventy six Degrees East thirty eight perches south forty nine Degrees East twenty four perches (South) |
