(319) and each of them and their Heirs respectively and from and against all & every other person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim from by or under them the said John and Ralph Hoult or either of them or their Heirs respectively and from and against all other person or persons whatsoever shall and will well and truly warrant and for ever Defend by these presents unto the said Bennett Wheeler his heirs and Assigns for ever And lastly the said John And Ralph Hoult for themselves their and each of their Heirs Executors & Administrators further Covenant grant and agree to and with the said Bennett Wheeler his Heirs and Assigns That they the said John and Ralph Hoult their and each of their Heirs Executors and Administrators shall and will at all time and Times hereafter at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Bennett Wheeler his Heirs and Assigns make and in due form of Law execute all and every such further and other Conveyance or Conveyances as may be the said Bennett Wheeler his heirs or Assigns or his or their Council Learned in the Law be devised advised or required for the further and better assuring and Conveying the Tract or parcel of Land aforesaid so as aforesaid described unto the said Bennett Wheeler & his Heirs & Assigns In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above written signed sealed & Delivered before John Hoult (seal) Jeremiah To.y Chase S Chase Ralph Hoult (seal) October 23.d 1767 ^then^ received the sum of two hundred and two Pounds ten shillings Current Money it being the Consideration within mentioned to be paid to John Hoult Witness Jeremiah To.y Chase S Chase Ralph Hoult On the 23.d Day of October 1767 Came John Hoult & Ralph Hoult before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the right title and Estate of the within named Bennett Wheeler according to the Act of Assembly in such Case provided And at the same Time came Ann wife of the aforesaid Ralph Hoult and being examined privately out of the hearing of her said Husband did confess & acknowledge that she released all her Right & Title to Dower of & in the Tract of Land in the within Deed mentioned and that she made such her Acknowledgment of the same willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure Taken Before Geo Steuart Recorded the 23.d Day of October 1767 10¾ sides |
