       On the twenty second Day of October 1767 came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Elias Clark and Samuel Adams and
       severally acknowledged the within Deed to be their respective Act and Deed to and for the
       uses intents and purposes within mentioned and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned
       to be the right and Estate of the within named Samuel Adams his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       according to the True intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in
       such cases made and provided                     Before                              J Hepburn
           Recorded the 22.d Day of October 1767

             This Indenture made the twenty fourth Day of September in the Year of our
       Lord seventeen hundred and sixty seven Between William Edmonston of Calvert County Taylor
       of the one part and Richard Henderson of Prince Georges County Merchant of the other
       part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of five shillings Current Money by him the
       said Richard Henderson to him the said William Edmonston in hand paid at or before
       the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       he the said William Edmonston hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain
       and sell unto the said Richard Henderson all that Tract or parcel of Land called The Gore
       lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid containing one hundred and seventy nine
       Acres more or less and also all that other Tract or parcel of Land called The Addition to the
       Gore lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid the same being part of a greater
       Tract of Land called the Meadows Begining for the said part at the end of the South South
       East Line of the said Tract called the Meadows and runing thence North sixty three
       Degrees East seventy eight perches North eighty two Degrees East eighty six Perches
       East fifty perches South South West one hundred and twenty seven perches then
       with a Streight Line to the Begining containing sixty three Acres of Land more or less and
       the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents issues and profits of
       all and singular the said premisses and every part and parcel thereof with their and every
       of their Rights Members and Appurtenances  To have and to hold the said Lands
       and Premisses hereby Bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be with
       their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the said Richard Henderson
       his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Day next before the Day of the Date
       of these presents for and during the Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing
       and fully to be compleat and ended Yielding and paying therefore unto the said William
       Edmonston his Heirs and Assigns the Rent of one Pepper Corn only on the last Day of
       the said Term if the same shall be demanded  To the intent and purpose that by virtue
