Ex.d
       This Indenture Tripartite made this third day of June in the year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven  Between James
       Tilghman the third of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law of the first part
       George Carpenter of Saint Marys County planter of the second part and
       Elisha Rawlings of Saint Marys County aforesaid Planter and Sarah
       his Wife of the third part  Whereas for the docking Barring and Extinguishing
       all Estates Tail and Reversions and Remainders thereupon
       expectant or depending of on and in the Lands and Appurtenances herein
       after mentioned the same James Tilghman as Demandant did heretofore
       at the request of the aforesaid George Carpenter prosecute and sue forth
       out of his Lordships high Court of Chancery his Said Lordships Writ of
       Entry sur Disseisin en le post against the same George Carpenter returnable
       and returned to the Provincial Court at Annapolis on the third Tuesday
       of May last past whereby the said James Tilghman did demand against
       the said George Carpenter all that Tract or parcell of Plantable Land
       scituate lying and being in Saint Marys County aforesaid called
       Beards Choice Containing One Hundred Acres of Land which
       said Tract or Parcell of Land was devised by a certain George Whittar
       to his Grand Daughter Sarah Estep in Tail with the Appurtenances
       to which said Writ the said George Carpenter did appear Gratis in
       his own proper person and vouched to warranty thereof the aforesaid
       Elisha Rawlings and Sarah his Wife who likewise appeared in their own
       proper persons and entered into the Warranty thereof and further vouched
       over to Warrant the premisses William Rawlings the Common Vouchee of
       the same Court and such further and other proceedings were thereupon
       had that the same James Tilghman by the Judgment of the same
       Court did recover his Seisin against the same George Carpenter party
       hereto of and in the demanded premisses and the same George Carpenter
       did recover in value against the aforesaid Elisha Rawlings and Sarah
       his wife and the same Elisha Rawlings and Sarah his wife did
