       In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set
       their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered
       the word (Interest) in the seventeenth                  James Dick          (seal)
       line the word (and) in the eighteenth line
       the word (whereas) in the thirty second line         William Brogden   (seal)
       the words (and sale) in the forty sixth line
       & the word (Assigns) in the sixty second line
       being first interlined
       In the presence of
       Thomas Richardson            to James Dicks executing
       Anthony Stewart

       Thomas Gassaway Jun.r      to William Brogdens Executing

          On the back of the aforegoing Deed were the following endorsments to wit

       Received on the day and year first within written of and from the within
       named William Brogden the sum of four hundred and eighty two pounds   £482
       Sterling being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me

       Witness  Thomas Richardson, Anthony Stewart                  James Dick

          On the 2.d day of July 1767 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       Provincial Justices the within named James Dick and acknowledged the
       within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and
       premisses within mentioned to be Conveyed to the within named William
       Brogden to be the right and Estate of him the said William Brogden
       his heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True intent and meaning
       of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and
       Provided               Before                           Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer

       1767 August 19.th  Rec.d of the Rev.d William Brogden on the sum
       of thirty four shillings and eight pence Sterling for the use of
       Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within Lands
       and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said
       Lordships Agent and Receiver General               John Brice
