       In Witness whereof the said parties to these Presents have hereto
       interchangeably set their hands and Seals the day & year above written

       On the back of the aforegoing Deed were the following Endorsments to wit
      
       June 26.th 1767  Then received of the within named John Beal Bordley the      £800
       sum of Eight hundred Pounds Current Money being the Consideration
       Money within mentioned to be by him (for the purpose within mentioned)
       paid to us                                                   Th.s Ringgold  W.m Ringgold
          Witness  B Hands

       Mem.d  On the 26.th day of June in the Year 1767 came the within named
       Thomas Ringgold & W.m Ringgold before me acknowledged the within
       Indenture to be their Act and Deed for the purposes within mentioned

       This Indenture made this second Day of July in the year of our
       Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Between James Dick of
       Ann Arundell County Merch.t of the one part and William Brogden of
       Prince Georges County Clerk of the other part  Whereas by Indenture
       of Bargain and Sale made on or about the tenth day of July one thousand
       seven hundred sixty five and duly acknowledged and Recorded in the
       Provincial Court Land Records between Samuel Chapman late of
       Ann Arundel County deceased of the one part and the aforesaid James
       Dick of the other part Reciting that Whereas the aforesaid Samuel
       Chapman was then Justly and truly Indebted to the said James Dick
       and the several Persons following in the several and respective sums of
       Money therein after mentioned that is to say to him the said James Dick
       in the sum of two hundred and eighty six pound eighteen shillings and two
