          Maryland fs.t   Be it remembered that on the thirty first day
       of October in the year of our Lord Christ seventeen hundred an
       sixty five personally Appeared before me one of his Lordships
       Judges of the Provincial Court Richard Henderson party to the
       within Instrument of Writing and Acknowledged the same to be
       his Act and Deed and the part of the tract of Land within
       bargained and sold to be the Right and Estate of the within mentioned
       Robert Dick his heirs and Assigns according to the true
       Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and according to the Act
       of Assembly for such cases made and Provided On the same day
       also Personally Appeared before me Sarah wife to the said
       Richard Henderson who being privately examined by me
       apart from and out of the hearing of her said Husband did
       declare that she voluntarily and of her own free will and
       without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage
       from her said husband or fear of his displeasure Released her
       right of Dower to and in the land aforesaid and acknowledged
       the same to be the right and Estate of the Within named Robert
       Dick his heirs and assigns, according to the act of assembly for
       such cases made and provided  Taken and Acknowledged the day
                                                          and year above written before me
                               Jn.o Brice

          Received the 31.st October 1765 of Robert Dick two shillings sterling
       for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within
       Land and by virtue of a commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said
       Lordships Agent & Receiver General

       This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of October in
       the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty five
       Between Roger Bryce of Baltimore County in the Province of
       Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Stephen West of Prince
       Georges County and Province aforesaid Gentleman of the other
