          On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t

       1765 October 31.st Then received of the within named Michal Owings
       the sum of twenty three pounds sterling money being the [illegible] consideration
       money within mentioned

       1765 Oct.r 31 personally appeared before me one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court Bazaleel Owings and Elijah
       Owings and severally acknowledged the within indenture
       to be their act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the right and estate of the within named
       Michal Owings her heirs and Assigns according to the true
       intent and meaning of the same indenture and the act of assembly
       in such case made and Provided
                                                                   Geo Steuart

          Received the 31.st Octob.r 1765 of Michal Owings four shillings and
       three pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the
       Alienation Fine on the within land and by virtue of a commission
       from Edward Lloyd his said Lordships Agent and receiver General
                                                                                     John Davidson
                   Recorded 31.st October 1765

       This Indenture made the thirty first day of October Anno
       Domini Seventeen hundred and sixty five between Richard
       Henderson of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland
       merchant of the one part and Robert Dick of the same
       County and Province Merchant of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said Richard Henderson for and in Consideration of Twenty
       Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby
       acknowledged hath Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Released
       Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents he the said Richard
       Henderson doth Grant Bargain and sell Alien Release Enfeoffe
       and Confirm unto the said Robert Dick his heirs and Assigns all
       that tract or parcell of Land lying and being in the county aforesaid
       being part of a Tract of Land called Cranford's Adventure and the
