(241) Requests and at the Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Tho.s Beall his heirs and Assigns and every such further and other Lawfull Acts and Deed Conveyances and Assurances and for the Better and Assuring the said Lands and Premisses hereby Bargained and Sold or hereby Intended to be Bargained and Sold unto the said Tho.s Beall his heirs and Assigns as by Counsell Learned in the Law Shall be Reasonably Devized advized or or Required and the said Samuel Scott all and Singular the before Bargained Premisses with there Appertenances and every part and parcell thereof unto the said Tho.s Beall his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to the use and Behoof Affore.d agains all manner of Person or Persons Claiming or to Claim by from or under him the said Samuel Scott his heirs or Assigns or any of them shall and will Warrant and Defend forever by these presents in Witness whereof the said Sam Scott hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and Year above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of the words in first Line twenty Sixth J Hepburn Samuel Scott (Seal) December being first interlines and Sam.l Hepburn on the back side the words in the acknowledgem.t and Receit December being first Interlined On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed viz.t 1766 December 26.th Received of Thomas Beall Two hundred Pounds current money the Consideration Money for the within mentioned Lands Witness J Hepburn Samuel Scott Prince Georges County fs.t December 26.th 1766 then Came Samuel Scott and Acknowledged the within written Deed According to Law as in Such Cases made and Provided for by Act of Assembly, Acknowledged before J Hepburn June 26 Received of M.r Thomas Beall the Sum of five Shillings and Six Pence Sterling Money it being the Alienation Fine on the within Lands for the use of Lord Baltimore bye virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordship's Agent and Receiver Generall Jn.o Brice 9½ Sides Recorded the 26.th June 1767 Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents That I Sarah Brice Executrix of John Brice Esq.r deceased in Consideration of the Sum of One hundredred pounds Sterling money (by a Bond executed to me by David Gorsuch John Ensor Jun.r and William Lux of Baltimore County paid to me by Joseph Ensor for the Redemption of a Tract of land called East Humphrey heretofore |
