(231) set his hand and seal the day and Year above written Signed Sealed and Deliverd his in the presence of us Richard King R Stevenson (seal) Will.m Aisquith Richard Stevenson mark On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t On the 18 Day of May 1767 Rec.d of Edward Stevenson son of Rich.d twenty pounds current money Being the consideration for the within Land and premisses Witness present p me his Will.m Aisquith Richard King R Stevenson mark On the 18.th Day of May 1767 then came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for Baltimore County the within mentioned Richard King Stevenson party to the within Deed and acknowledged the same to be his act and the land and premisses thereby bargaind and sold to Be the Right title and Estate of the within named Edward Stevenson his heirs and assigns forever as witness our Hands W.m Aisquith NRuxton Gay 1767 June. 4.th Received of Edward Stevenson the sum of four Shillings Sterling money for the use of Lord Baltimore being the alienation fine on the within land and by virtue of a commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships agent and Receiver General ½ sides Recorded the 4.th June 1767 J Brice Exam.d This Indenture made the 18.th Day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Seven between Richard King Stevenson of Baltimore County Farmer of the one part and Richard Stevenson Junior son of the said Richard King Stevenson of Frederick County Farmer of the other part Witnesseth that the said Richard King Stevenson for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty pounds current money to him in hand paid by the said Richard Stevenson Jun.r the Receipt whereof the said Richard King Stevenson doth hereby acknowledge hath granted Bargained sold aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and absolutely grant unto the said Richard Stevenson Junior his heirs and assigns forever one hundred and twelve acres of Land lying in Frederick County but formerly calld Baltimore County being part of a tract of land calld Goodwill viz.t Begining for the said land at the end of fourteen p.s on the north east two hundred and fifty p.s Line it being the fifteenth line of the whole Resurvey and running thence North East one hundred and thirty four p.s then Leave the old lines and thence North Sixty Eight D.s west fifty p.s then north thirty Seven Degrees East Twenty four p.s then North Eight degrees west fifty six perches then west fifty Two p.s then South Twenty six Degrees west ninety p.s then west six p.s then South thirty One Degrees west forty four p.s then South three Degrees East Sixty p.s and thence with a straight Line to the Begining for one hundred and twelve acres of Land together with all and singular the Improvements and |
