(222) to be had suffered or executed of for or upon the said hereby released premisses or any part thereof and the full force Effect and Execution thereof and also all and every other common Recovery and Recoveries Fine and Fines and other Assurances had made levied suffered or executed of for or upon the premisses or any part thereof to which the said parties to these presents or any of them is or are or shall be parties or party or privy Shall be and enure to the only proper use and behoof of the said George Ashman his heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above written George Ashman (Seal) Signed Sealed & Delivered Rob.t Alexander (Seal) J Murray W.m Woodward J Nicholson Ju.r (Seal) On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t Received the Day and Year first within mentioned of and from the within named Robert Alexander sum of ten Shillings Sterling being the Consideration mentioned to be by him paid to me George Ashman Test J Murray, W.m Woodward On the 23.d May 1767 Came the within named George Ashman Robert Alexander and Joseph Nicholson Junior before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial court and Severally Acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be their respective act and Deed to and for the uses intents and purposes within mentioned and the Land and Premisses within mentioned with the appurtenances to be the only right and Estate of the said George Ashman his heirs and Assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of the Same writing and the act of assembly in such cases made and provided 10 Sides Recorded the 23.d May 1767 Before B Hands Exam.d Maryland fs.t On the 25.th day of May Annoq Dom 1767 Came before me one of his Lordship Justices of the Provincial Court Benjamin Young Esq.r Surveyor General of the Eastern Shore of the of the Province Aforesaid Aged forty one years and upwards and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Allmighty God That on or about the Eighth day of August Anno Dom 1750 this Deponant was present when a marriage was solemnized between a certain Stead Lowe (now deceased) late Brother of John Lowe Esq.r of Denby or Lockee in the County of Derby and Kingdom of England and Letitia Young, Sister of this Deponant That the said marriage ceremony was performed in the dwelling House of this Deponant on a Plantation on the north side of Severn River which he then rented of a certain Widow Denton by the Rev.d M.r Walter Chalmers then Rector of Westeminster Parish and since deceased, That M.r Henry Woodward likewise now deceased was present |
