(207) Adjudged construed deemed and taken and are and were meant and intended and are hereby declared to be and enure That the said Ebenezer Edmunstone Orme and all and every other person and persons who shall be seised of the premisses or any part thereof by force or vertue of the said Common Recovery or Recoveries shall stand and be Seised thereof and of every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their Appurtenances to the only use and behoof of the said John Orme his heirs and Assigns forever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witnesseth whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their seals the Day and Year first within Written Signed Sealed and Delivered Tho.s Pratt (Seal) in the Presence of us Elenor Pratt (seal) J Hepburn John Orme (seal) Austin Allen Ebenezer Ed.n Orme (seal) On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz.t On the Day and Year first within written received of and from the within mentioned John Orme the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witness J Hepburn Tho.s Pratt On the Nineteenth Day of May Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven came Thomas Pratt and Eleanor his wife Ebenezer Edmunstone Orme and John Orme the parties to the within Indenture and severally acknowledged the same to be their and each of their Act and Deed to and for the uses and purposes therein Mentioned and according to the Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided Taken and Acknowledged before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the Day and Year above mentioned At the same time the said Eleanor Pratt being sides privately examined out of the Hearing of her Husband declared that she freely consented to the within Deeds being made and that she did the same freely and voluntarily without any Threats from her Husband or Fear of his Displeasure before * J Hepburn Recorded the 20.th May 1767 |vide page 254 for the Remainding part of this Deed| Exam.d This Indenture made the Twenty first Day of May in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty Seven Between Joseph Coman and John Thomas on the one part and Thomas Snowden of Ann Arundel County Iron Master Son of Richard Snowden late of Ann Arundel County Iron Master deceased on the other Part Whereas by Deed of Bargain and Sale bearing Date the Day next before the Date of these Presents made between the said Thomas Snowden party hereto Samuel Snowden of Ann Arundel County Iron Master and John Snowden of the same county Iron Master sons of Richard Snowden late of Ann Arundel County deceased on the one Part and the said Joseph Cowman and John Thomas on the other part the said Thomas |
