(205) and the said Eleanor Pratt being by me privately examined out of the hearing of her Husband declared that she freely consented to within Deed's being made and that she did the same without any Threats from her Husband or fear of his Displeasure before J Hepburn Recorded the 20.th May 1767 Sides x.d This Indenture Tripartite made the nineteenth Day of May in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven Between Thomas Pratt of Prince Georges County planter and Eleanor his wife of the first part John Orme of Frederick County Joiner of the second part and Ebenezer Edmonstone Orme of Prince Georges County Planter of the third part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Pratt and Eleanor his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling money to them in Hand paid by the said John Orme at and before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the docking barring and extinguishing all Estate Tail and all Reversions and Remainders thereupon expectant or depending of and in the Land Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned they the said Thomas Pratt and Eleanor his wife (by and with the Advice and Consent of the said Ebenezer Edmunstone Orme testified by his being a party to and his Sealing and executing these Presents) Have granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed And by these Presents Do grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto him the said John Orme (in his Actual Possession now being by virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made by them the said Thomas Pratt and Eleanor his wife bearing Date the Day next before the Day of the Date of these presents for one whole year commencing from the Day next before the Day of the Date thereof and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into Possession) his heirs and Assigns all that Tract or parcell of Land called the Luckey Discovery lying and being in Prince Georges County on the west side of the western Branch of Patuxent River Beginning at the end of the second line of a Tract of Land called the Free School Farm in the possession of Ignatius Digges Esquire and running thence East two hundred and sixty one Perches then North North West Nineteen perches then East thirty nine perches then North nine perches then west one hundred and Sixty perches then North two hundred and six perches then west fifty six perches then South One hundred and twenty one perches then South fifty Degrees and a half of a Degree west twenty six perches and a half of a perch south Eighty seven perches then west fifty six perches then by a Straight line to the first Beginning containing and laid out for one hundred and nineteen |
