       these Presents have Interchangeably set their hands and seals
       the day and Year first above written

       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written viz

       Received the Day and year within mentioned of the within
       named Charles Carroll the sum of two hundred pounds current
       money being the full consideration money within mentioned
       Test

         George Dodson                                 Anthony Asher

       On the 26.th day of October 1765 Then Came Anthony Asher before me the
       subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of
       Maryland Party to the within Deed and acknowledged the same
       to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned  
       to be the Right and Estate of the within named Charles Carroll his
       heirs and assigns forever according to the True intent and meaning
       of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and
       Provided

          Received the 29.th October 1765 of Charles Carroll Esq four shillings & six
       pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the alienation
       fine on the within Land and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward
       Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General
                                                                               John Davidson
6¾            Recorded 29.th October 1765


Examined
           This Indenture made this Thirtieth day of October in the
       Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between
       Samuel Chew of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one part and
       Stephen Stewart of Ann Arundel County ship wright of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the said Samuel Chew for and in consideration of one
       hundred and sixty eight Pounds Sterling Money to him in hand
       paid by the said Stephen Stewart at or before the sealing and
       delivery of these presents the Receipt Whereof he doth hereby
       acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth acquit and discharge
       the said Stephen Steward his heirs Executors Admrs and Assigns
