(194) Subscribing And In Testimony thereof the said Lord Mayor hath hereunto Subscribed his Name and caused the Great Seal of the City of Dublin to be hereunto affixed and the said Public Notary hath also Subscribed his Name and Affixed his Seal of Office the Day Month and year first above written Sealed and Delivered in Rob.t Taaffe (Seal) the Presence of us John Troy, James Smith Achsah Taaffe (Seal) We the Persons hereunto subscribing Merchats and Inhabitants I Taylor Lord Mayor of the City of Dublin Do hereby Certify and Attest that the of the City of Dublin Right Honble Sir James Taylor Knight who hath Subscribed the Above Procuration is Lord Mayor of the City of Dublin Seal And that Richard Thwaites who hath also subscribed and Sealed the said Procuration is a Notary and Tabilion Public by Royal Admitted and Sworn Dwelling in the said City of Dublin And that to all Attestations Procurations and other Public Instruments by him Signed full faith and Credit is and ought to be given in Judgment Court and thereout Given under our hands this 10.th Day of September in the year of our Lord 1766 James Hugh Lang Which I Attest Amos Strettell W.m White Rob.t Magee &c.o George Knox Rich.d Thwaites (Seal) Rob.t Sesen Hen.y Williams W.m Alexander Matt Weld Not.rius Pubb.l Stepmiller Tho.s & R.d Blood On the Back of the Aforegoing Letter of Attorney was thus Written viz.t Baltimore County to wit On the 15.th day of May 1767, Came James Smith one of the Subscribing witnesses to the within Power of Attorney before us the Subscribers two Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid, and made oath &c That he saw the within named Robert Taaffe and Achsah Taaffe Sign Seal & deliver the within Power of Attorney as their Acts and Deeds for the purposes therein mentioned, and that he the said James Smith together with John Troy the other Subscribing witness to the same, then Signed their names as witnesses to the said Power of Attorney in the Presence & at the request of the said Robert Taaffe and Achsah Taaffe and in the Presence of each other as witness our Hands 8½ sides NRuxton Gay Recorded the 20.th day of May 1767 Will.m Aisquith |
