       execute any further or other Deed assurance or conveyance that
       shall be devised advised or required by him the said Samuel Chase
       his heirs and assigns or his or their councel Learned in the Law for
       the further & better assurance of the premisses to the said Samuel
       Chase his heirs and assigns so as aforesaid to bar in the most effectual
       manner any Claim or Demand of him the said Samuel Mansell
       or his heirs or any other person or persons claiming by from or under
       him or them In Witness whereof the said Samuel Mansell hath
       hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above
       written
       Sealed and Delivered            Memorandum
       in the presence of                  The erasements in the sixteen
       Tho.s Brooke Hodgkin         and eighteenth Lines from the Top   Samuel Mansell
       Sam.l Owings Jun.r               were first made before sealing                       (seal)
                                                   and Delivery

           On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t

       Received the 31.st day of October Anno Domini 1765 of the within named Samuel  
       Chase the sum of eighteen pounds sixteen shillings Sterling being in full for
       the consideration Money within mentioned

                   Tho.s Brooke Hodgkin
                   Sam.l Owings Jun.r

       On the 31.st day of October 1765 came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Samuel Mansell
       party to the within Deed and did acknowledge the same to be his act and
       Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right and
       Estate of the said Samuel Chase his heirs and assigns according to the
       True Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the act of assembly
       in Such Case made and Provided

       Received the 31.st October 1765 of Samuel Chase Esq fifteen Shillings
       and one half penny Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the
       alienation fine on the within Land and by virtue of a commission
       from Edw.d Lloyd Esq.r his Said Lordships Agent and receiver General
