(189) Exam.d This Indenture made the Ninth Day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty seven Between John Baynes of Prince Georges County of the one part and Joseph Noble of the said county of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Baynes for and in consideration of the sum of Five Shillings ^sterling^ to him in hand paid by the said Joseph Noble the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully Satisfied & Contented And doth by these presents Exonerate Acquit and Discharge him the said Joseph Noble his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns Hath Given Granted Bargained aliened Sold enfeoffed and confirmed And by these Presents doth give Grant bargain alien Sell enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Joseph Nobel his heirs and Assigns for Ever all that part of a Parcell of Land Called Joseph & Marthas Delight lying and being in the county aforesaid Together with all Previledges and Appurtenances thereunto Belonging Beginning at the End of the first Line of the Original Tract and Running thence North Eight and three fourths of a Degree West sixty four and a half Perches which is to Strike the End of the Thirteenth line of the Original Tract then Reversing the Course of the Thirteenth line wch of the Thirteenth line wch is South forty Degrees West Forty Perches to the End of the Twelvth line then with a Streight line to the Beginning containing Five acres more or less To have and to hold to him the said Joseph Noble his heirs and Assigns and to and for the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Joseph Noble his heirs and Assigns for Ever And the said John Baynes doth for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators covenant and agree to and with the aforesaid Joseph Noble his heirs and assigns that he the said John Baynes his heirs Executors and Administrators the aforesaid parcell of Land with the Premisses and all the Appurtenances unto the aforesaid Joseph Noble his heirs and Assigns against all Persons claiming by from or under him will Warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the party first Mentioned hath put his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day & year above Written Sealed & Delivered In the Presence of us John Baynes (Seal) Tho.s Ha Marshall Geo Hardey Jun On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus writ viz.t Maryland Prince Georges County 9.th May 1767 Received of M.r Joseph Noble the sum of Five Shillings Sterling being the consideration within mentioned Witness Tho.s Ha Marshall John Baynes Geo Hardey Jun.r Maryland |
