       This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of January in the year
       of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Seven Between William
       Foard of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland planter of the
       one part and Joseph Foard of the City of Annapolis and province
       aforesaid stay maker of the other part Witnesseth that the said William
       Foard as well for and in Consideration of the Natural Love and Affection
       which he hath and beareth unto the said Joseph Ford his Son and for the
       better Maintenance and Preferment of the said Joseph Foard as also for
       and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Current Money to
       him in hand paid by the said Joseph Foard the receipt whereof he doth
       hereby Acknowledge he the said William Foard Hath Given Granted
       Bargained Sold Aliened and Confirmed and by these presents Doth give
       Grant Bargain Sell Alien and Confirm unto the said Joseph Foard his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land Called
       Joseph and Priscilla lying and being in the County and Province
       aforesaid Begining at the End of the Ninth line of a Tract or parcel
       of Land Called part of Chance Enlarged and runing thence South nine
       Degrees west thirty three perches then South seven Degrees East one
       hundred perches then South forty one Degrees East thirty six perches
       then South twenty nine Degrees west one hundred perches then south west
       twenty perches then South seventy two Degrees west twenty perches
       then North fifty two Degrees west thirty four perches then North eight
       Degrees west four perches then North fifty Degrees East twenty perches
       then North thirty Degrees East ninety six perches then North twenty
       Degrees west two hundred and Sixty perches then North twenty Degrees
       East One hundred and twenty perches then East twenty perches then
       south fifty two Degrees East Ninety four perches then North eighty one
       Degrees East forty one perches then South One hundred and fifty seven
       perches then with a Straight Line to the Begining Containing and now
       laid out for Two hundred and fifty Acres of Land More or less Together
       with all Rights Profits Benefits and Priviledges thereunto Belonging or in
       any wise appurtaining  To Have and to hold the said Tract or parcel
       of Land and Premisses and Every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances
       unto the said Joseph Foard  his heirs and Assigns for ever and the said William
       Foard for him and his heirs the said Tract or parcel of Land and premises
       and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances against him his
