       The Premises and their and Every of their Appurtenances unto him the said
       Nicholas Ridgely son of William his heirs and Assigns against him the
       said John Stoner his heirs and Assigns and all persons Claiming
       from or under him or them or any of them shall and will warrant
       and for Ever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof to these
       Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and seals the
       Day and year first above written

       Rec.d Dec.r 17.th 1766 of Nicholas Ridgely the Sum of one Hundred Pounds

       On the 17.th day of December 1766 Came John Stoner within named
       Party to the within Deed before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships
       Justices of the peace for Fred.k County and Acknowledged the within
       Mentioned Land and premises to be the Right and Estate of the within
       Named Nicho.s Ridgley son of W.m his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       According to Act of Assembly in that case made and provided

       December 23.d 1766 Received of M.r Nicholas Ridglely son of William
       the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being
       the alienation fine on the within Lands and by Virtue of a Commission
       from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General
sides                                                                              John Brice
       Recorded 23.d December 1766

       Know all Men by these Presents that we James Brooks Benjamin
       Tasker Esq.r and Doctor Upton Scott of the City of Annapolis are held
       and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his heirs
       and successors in the full and Just Sum of Fifteen hundred Pounds Current
       Money to be paid unto the said Lord Proprietary his heirs and successors to
       which payment well and Truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our
       Heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and Severally firmly by their
