with the Premisses and appertanances unto the said Rector Vestrymen and Church Wardens of said Parrish in Trust to and for the use of the said Parrish for ever and the said Charles Carroll for himself and his heirs doth hereby Covenant Grant & Agree that he will warrant and Defend the said Bargained Lot of Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances unto the said Rector Vestrymen and Church Wardens of said Parrish & their successors in trust to and for the use of the said Parrish forever against all person or persons whatsoever claiming by from or under him the said Charles Carroll or his heirs or by his or their means or procurement In Witness whereof the said Charles Carroll hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year ^first^ above written Signed Sealed & Delivered Cha Carroll (seal) In presence of Fra Digges John Macnabb On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t Received the day & year within mentioned of the Rector Vestrymen & Church Wardens within Mentioned Ten pounds Ten Shillings Sterling being the consideration money within mentioned as witness my hand Tests Fra Digges Cha Carroll John Macnabb On the 31.st day of October 1765 Came the within named Charles Carroll Esq.r before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial court and acknowledged the within Deed to be his act and the Lot of Land thereby Bargained & sold to be the Right Title & Estate of the Rector Vestrymen & Church Wardens of S.t Pauls Parrish in Baltimore County & their Successors in trust for & to the use of the said Parrish for ever according to the true intent & meaning of the within Deed, As Witness my hand Jn.o Brice 6½ s.ds Recorded 31.st Octob.r 1765 Examined This Indenture made this thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Samuel Mansell of Ann Arundel County in the province of Maryland planter of the part and Samuel Chase of the City of Annapolis in the said Province Attorney at Law of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Mansell (for) |
